Reddish-brown (i.e. copper)
colored "waist blouse" made of cotton twill fabric (the color was
officially referred to as "SA Brown"). I would estimate the size
to be about a 38, but with a lot of room in the sides. The shirt
includes all its original 5 smooth faced, gold plated buttons (along
the front closure), which are attached to the shirt with "O"-rings,
as well as two for the pocket flaps, and two each for the front
and back sides of each turned back cuff (connected to each other
by a round ring between the buttonholes). One, or two of the buttons
have some verdigris on them, but should clean up OK. The shirt fabric
is in outstanding condition, and there is a card paper label on
the upper left front closure edge that notes the "Gr." (Grösse -
size) as "56" (stamped in ink on the card). There is an absolutely
perfect white oilcloth RZM label printed in red ink, affixed to
the lower right front hem edge. It lists the maker number as "369".
The bottom edge of the shirt has 4 gilt metal belt hooks sewn into
the reinforced bottom hem. This outstanding, mint un-issued blouse
is a perfect display piece.
